What is it?

A self-guided tour of Marietta’s art galleries and merchants, each featuring a special artist during Art Walk. Free to the public.

 

When is it?

Art Walk is held the first Friday of the month, April – June and August – September. 2009 Dates: April 3, May 1, June 5, August 7, September 4, October 2. Hours are 6pm-9pm.

 

New this year

We will have an “Artists’ Alley” in the courtyard of the Marietta Welcome Center, so that individual artists will be able to exhibit.

 

Maps & Trolley

Each Art Walk attendee will be given a map to all the locations (which they can pick up at each location, the Marietta Welcome Center or download from this website). Remember to have your map stamped at each participating location. Be one of the first 100 to return the completed map (with at least 15 locations) to Art Walk Headquarters, and receive a free gift bag. The trolley will be providing an Art Walk Shuttle from 6pm-8pm.

 

Where is Art Walk Headquarters?

For the Second Session of Art Walk, the headquarters tent is located in Artists’ Alley. The Alley can be found in the Courtyard and Alley along the Marietta Welcome Center & Visitors Bureau,4 Depot Street.
